Last night I dreamt that I was back on a high school campus.  I didn’t go to that school but I was staying in one of the dorms. The dorm was tucked away in a maze of stark halls under florescent lights. Creepy gym teachers helped me find my way. Once inside the dorm, it was a dark one room cabin with a bathroom. 

I went outside to walk along the beach under gray skies and rolling clouds and when I returned, there was a newly woven spiderweb across the toilet and in corners. When I was working at the dusty desk, I looked behind me and Aragog, the gigantic old spider from Harry Potter, was quietly sitting in the middle of his web. I didn’t want to disturb him. 

I didn’t want to disturb the spiders and didn’t fear them. 

I remember that I was running late to get to Winter Park. I lost my keys and had to go back and find them. 

I then woke up to James whispering “good morning” with a smile on his face, bringing me into the reality of a clean house with just a couple small spiders, and a little mouse or shrew in our activity zone.

Spider

 Beach 

To see the beach in your dream symbolizes the meeting between your two states of mind. The sand is symbolic of the rational and mental processes while the water signifies the irrational, unsteady, and emotional aspects of yourself. It is a place of transition between the physical/material and the spiritual.
