After an amazing adventure of mountain biking in Grand Junction, I came back home, only to catch a cold. No fun. I spent 2 days on the couch, blowing my nose, my mind wanting to be productive, but my body saying, “No no no. You must rest.” Sometimes your body knows better than your mind!

Oh how beautiful and majestic Colorado is! Sometimes I forget to take advantage of the beauty of our state and it’s when I get out into the open air, that I can really truly clear my mind of the clutter from the city. I want to get out and do that more often. I am grateful for the beautiful wide open park that’s close to home on the way to the rec center.
