Do what you love. Love what you do.
Tonight I presented at a TEDx event, sharing my journey as an entrepreneur. I started off with a little musical performance playing the Grand Piano and leading the audience in a little clapping while I sang “Give me some love”. I had exactly 14 minutes for my entire presentation and the clock was the one object that I was most nervous about. I had to learn to condense my story which usually takes at least 30 minutes and condense it down to 1/2 of that which was a great challenge. I had 7 seconds to spare :)
My fellow presenters were so amazing. I laughed, I cried, I was inspired, I was motivated. I watched in awe as 1 by one, the presenters shared their stories, their inspirations, their motivations. I feel so honored to have been apart of this event.
As I focus my life on more guest speaking engagements, I feel like this event has truly pointed me in the direction to accomplish this new goal. I am grateful for this opportunity and grateful to my friends and family that continue to support me on my journey as an entrepreneur trying to figure it all out.
Up next, a musical performance tomorrow night with my band B.Sue and emceeing a wonderful event on Saturday night called Sparkopolis. I am excited that new doors are opening up for new passions.
