Wheeew! What a week it’s been! The cover of the magazine came out for HERLIFE Magazine, and we played our EP Release for my band B.Sue at the Hi-Dive on Friday.  It was a sold out show!! WAHOOO! The bands we played with were wonderful and we played a great set that had a good review in Westword :)

The very next morning, we woke up and headed out to Lake McConaughy for a little bit of relaxation. It was such a wonderful mini adventure. Besides the fact that there were these super rude jerk faces camping next to us, it was such a great way to get away from the business of the city. I spent the weekend sleeping on a donut shaped tube that fits 4, sailed on a Hobie Cat, steered the Hobie, and really just didn’t do much of anything. I went with my beau James and my BFF Amy.

The highlights were sailing under the almost full moon while being hooked to a harness and dangling upside down, digging my feet in the sand and playing in the water, and just getting away for a little R&R.
