A fun night ends in a worried frenzy.
What a fun evening that turned into a mild panic attack. I was nominated for the Mayor’s Award in Excellence in the Arts and James and I attended the award ceremony. What a beautiful ceremony! Wowser! This evening was fittings for Fashion Denver’s fall fashion market Revolution. We had 20 designers, 10 models, a camera crew from 9News / Metromix, stylists from a salon, our photographer, and some shoppers. After an amazing adventure of mountain biking in Grand Junction, I came back home, only to catch a cold. No fun. I spent 2 days on the couch, blowing my nose, my mind wanting to be productive, but my body saying, “No no no. You must rest.” Sometimes your body knows better than your mind!

Water dream
Last night I dreamt of visiting a place where boats were the main source of transportation and off in the distance, a volcano had erupted bringing on panic. I woke up this morning and in my twitter feed, there was news of a typhoon that had hit the Philippines. My Filipino chromosomes must have been feeling the energy as I dreamt.
